Simple Wishes Hands Free Nursing Bustier

The ladies at Simple Wishes were kind enough to send me one of these little beauties, even though I'm not nursing or pumping at the moment. Soon enough but not yet. I've already nursed and pumped with 2 little people and- where the heck was this thing the whole time???
At first the question "Um, what are you doing with your hands while you're pumping that you can't hold your bottles on?" The answer: EVERYTHING- especially if you have older children. I can't imagine a nursing/pumping WOHM not needing and adoring one of these. Its ridiculously genius as I'm sure many of you can relate to needing several sizes of bra from postpartum til you were done nursing. The beauty of this is in its size-ability. There are 2 sizes, SM/MD, and LG/XL. Not that theres anything wrong with being a L/XL but- I gotta admit that having SOMETHING- ANYTHING with the word "small" on it nowadays makes me smile. :) The versatility is in the zippers and adjustable straps. You can zip it down the front and the back to make it your perfect size. I LOVE that about it. You can also make it tighter as you "deflate" and your bottles get heavier the longer you pump. I can't say enough nice things about this, and highly recommend you get yourself one if you plan on electric pumping with any regularity. You'll save sanity and maybe give an elder sibling a little more "hands on" time that they maybe couldn 't have had otherwise (we moms only have 2 hands ya know...when will someone invent a product for THAT?)

Nourish Baby and Toddler Water

A little backstory for you...
In October 2010, we attended the ABC Kids Expo here in Vegas and there were more nonsensical products than we could possibly wrap our minds around. Like wolf packs preying on first time parents- there was alot of crap that SEEMED like a fabulous idea but in reality, were quite unnecessary. Amanda, a mother of 3 and myself, of 2 walked around commenting the obvious: "Yeah, best of luck wrangling my son in THAT" or "The baby would throw that at my head before she'd use it." Then we came upon Nourish Baby and Toddler water. The concept was a little wasteful at first to me as I try really hard to use reusable bottles and containers but- thats where I was wrong. These bottles (especially the Toddler) are FANTASTIC. You can reuse them (and they even go in the dishwasher!!!!) It doesn't specifically say on the website that you should pop 'em in the DW but, you heard it here... you SO CAN!!!
Let me also say that my son does NOT drink water. I know, I know.."babies need water, etc etc" but all lecturing aside...he just doesn't like it. I popped some ice cubes in there for him and he drank the whole thing! That alone is worth it for me. Not to mention the fact that the neck is wide enough to be able to pop some ice cubes in there...excellent idea.
The spill proof-ness is superb. That thing got thrown around my van like noones' business and not a drop spilled out.
The baby Nourish was quite nice as it has room for formula to be added. That always drove me nuts, not knowing how much water to add...too much and you had spillovers, too little and you had mud. Nourish baby is premeasured and once again, I can't say enough nice things about that wide spout.
The price per Nourish is a little steep, I will admit. You wouldn't buy these for everyday (unless you're a Rockerfeller perhaps) but on trips, Disneyland, a day at the outlet mall, etc where convenience is key-- these are the only things you will want to pack with you to drink. Heck, my 7 year old was caught sipping her brothers water "because its so sparkly good!" Sparkly? OK...I won't ask...
More places need to catch on and start selling these babies..

It's refreshing to find an online boutique specializing in something other than babies, diapers, and greeting cards. Although I do love for shop for all of those things online.

Sole Mate was brought to my attention. I love the style Sole Mate brings to its shoppers. Not only that, but I love the fact that they bring the style for not a lot of cash! They have some great accessories at great prices.

If you are a Nanny Deprived mom, and you need a little sprucing up but don't dare pack up your kids to go to the mall, then this may very well be a shop for you!

Take these green heels for example. They are fun, stylish and a great shade of green! Plus, they are only priced at $28.00! You can't beat that.

Little Monkey Store

I tried. I really tried.

I tried to be a great mom and use cloth diapers. I did some preliminary research, visited a friend who used cloth, and bought a few kinds of diapers. And that's when I realized, I'm just really bad at keeping up with the laundry. I failed at cloth diapering.

This little Monkey store is so darn cute, it could almost make me want to try again! They have so much information about diapering and the right kinds of diapers. Their Cloth Diapering 101 section was a great wealth of knowledge for under diaper educated moms like me.

The Little Monkey gives discounts for larger orders and they also have a points reward program. The more you shop, the more you save. It's a perfect cloth diaper store.

While visiting the site, I really fell back in love with the idea of cloth diapering. I just love how cute they look on my daughter's bum. I think if I went back to it, I would try the bum genius cloth diapers because they are one-size cloth diapers. I feel like my money would be well spent with them. I also love the amount of information the Little Monkey Store gives with each product.

The Little Monkey Store also has some cute reusable cloth swimming diapers. Swim diapers can get expensive. Especially if you are like me and try to wear your kids out by hitting the pool daily. These cloth swim diapers are totally on my list for the summer.

The Little Monkey Store has adorable Nifty Nappys which are fitted diapers. I learned that fitted diapers are cloth diapers that can be used no matter what size your little one is. They should be the only diaper needed until you potty train! They also fit more closely, reducing the bulge like disposable diapers can cause.

If you have no clue, think you can't do it, or you are a pro already, this is the store for you for all of your cloth diapering needs!

First - follow our blog. Next, fill out this form. Once we receive the form back will put your review on our schedule page. Check our schedule page to see when you can expect your review.
